Georgian Wine - National Wine Agency

To raise awareness of Georgian wine and promote export growth, a Georgian wine masterclass and tasting was held in Cologne, Germany, with financial support from the National Wine Agency and organised by the Agency’s contracted marketing company, ff.k Public Relations.
The presentation of Georgian wine was led by renowned German influencer and sommelier Toni Askitis and attended by representatives of the wine trade and the media, approximately 120 people in total. Toni Askitis shares news and trends from the wine industry on his popular channel, #Asktoni. Guests at the event had the opportunity to taste 6 Georgian wines.
To increase the export potential of Georgian wine in the German market, the National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the marketing company ff.k Public Relations since 2021. As part of the campaign, tastings and seminars are held in various German cities for wine professionals, trade representatives and consumers; Georgian wine is presented at international exhibitions; targeted advertising and media campaigns are conducted; and wine tours to Georgia are organised for representatives of the media, wine professionals and sales sector representatives.
Germany stands out for its growing sales of Georgian wine. In January–August of this year, nearly 1 million litres of wine were exported from Georgia to Germany, 29% more than in the same period last year.
