Georgian Wine Showcased at the Reception Marking Georgia’s Independence Day in Ankara
A presentation of Georgian wine was held in Ankara, the capital of the Republic of Türkiye, as part of the official reception organized by the Embassy of Georgia to celebrate Georgia’s Independence Day.
With the support of the National Wine Agency, a dedicated “Georgian Wine Corner” was arranged within the framework of the reception, offering guests the opportunity to taste a variety of Georgian wines and learn about the history, traditions, culture, and modern wine industry of Georgia.
The Independence Day reception was attended by approximately 400 guests, including high-ranking officials of the Republic of Türkiye, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Ankara, representatives of international organizations, as well as members of historical Georgian diaspora associations operating in Türkiye, business and tourism sector representatives, representatives of analytical and research centers, cultural institutions, and leading Turkish media outlets.
The presentation of Georgian wine in this format aims to enhance the visibility of Georgian wine in international markets and create new export opportunities.
