The National Wine Agency has been cooperating with the German marketing company "ff.k Public Relations" since 2021. The goal of the planned events is to increase demand for Georgian wine in the German market.
Within the framework of the campaign, tasting seminars will be held in various cities across Germany for wine professionals, representatives of the wine trade sector, and consumers. Georgian wine will be showcased at international exhibitions, and targeted advertising and media campaigns will be implemented. Wine tours in Georgia will also be organized for media representatives, sommeliers, and sales professionals. In addition, consumer-oriented events will be strengthened within retail wine sales networks.
Within the framework of the planned activities, the first presentation of Georgian wine this year will take place from 15 to 17 March in Düsseldorf, Germany, at one of the world’s largest international wine exhibitions, “ProWein Düsseldorf.” With the support of the National Wine Agency, 26 Georgian wine-producing companies will participate in the exhibition.
Germany is the largest importer and consumer of wine in Europe and, at the same time, one of the potentially growing strategic export markets for Georgian wine. Through activities organized and supported by the National Wine Agency, as well as consistent cooperation with Georgian wine producers, a growing trend in the export of Georgian wine has been established.
