On January 21, the second season of the Emmy-winning, multilingual series “Drops of God” premiered on Apple TV. The season comprises several episodes and takes millions of viewers worldwide on a journey through the world of wine culture and gastronomy, including the country of Georgia.
Drops of God” is based on the bestselling Japanese manga of the same name and is a French-Japanese drama series. The father of the main characters, the legendary French sommelier Alexandre Léger, has assembled the largest and most valuable wine collection in the world. In the second season, the task of the series' heroes is to find the best wine in the collection and, at the same time, the place of origin of the nameless bottle of wine. To achieve this goal, the heroes of the series travel to Georgia, as well as other countries.

Part of the second season of the series “DROPS OF GOD” was filmed in Georgia, with the participation of the film companies “Studio 99” and “Asi Film” and with the support of the “Shoot in Georgia” project of the “Produce in Georgia” agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The project consultant was Shalva Khetsuriani, President of the Georgian Sommeliers Association.
