01.12.2025

In Berlin, at the international natural wine exhibition “RAW Wine Berlin 2025”, four Qvevri wine-producing wineries participated with the support of the National Wine Agency of Georgia and the Embassy of Georgia to the Federal Republic of Germany.
“RAW Wine” is one of the outstanding international exhibitions where producers of high-quality natural, organic, and biodynamic wines gather. The exhibition is organized by the renowned French Master of Wine, Isabelle Legeron.
Presenting Georgian Qvevri wine at “RAW Wine Berlin” is important for the promotion of Qvevri wine, for helping wine producers find potential importers, and for increasing exports.
This year, more than 100 natural wine producers from 13 countries were represented at the Berlin exhibition, including countries renowned for their winemaking traditions such as France, Italy, Portugal, and others. As usual, there was great interest in Georgian wine from wine professionals and visitors.
It is noteworthy that with the support of the National Wine Agency, in 2025, Qvevri wine-producing wineries participated in “RAW Wine” exhibitions in New York, Tokyo, Paris, Copenhagen, and Verona.
With the aim of increasing the export potential of Georgian wine and diversifying markets, during 2025, with the financial and organizational support of the National Wine Agency, Georgian wine was presented at 36 exhibitions and festivals and at up to 300 tasting seminars in the United States, Europe, and Asia, in a total of around 20 countries. These activities are carried out within the framework of the “State Program for the Promotion of Georgian Wine”, which this year was funded with 17.4 million GEL.
