About 80 wine companies have already been registered in the vintage coordination headquarters
Wine companies wishing to join the vintage have the opportunity to register online. The vast majority of companies has registered online today on the website of the National Wine Agency www.wine.gov.ge, which is especially important given the epidemiological situation in the country.
According to the established rule, before starting the process of receiving grapes, wine companies should register in the Vintage Coordination Headquarters; Grape processing will be carried out only in enterprises equipped with scales certified by the LEPL Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology. All varieties of grapes received and processed are registered by the operator sent by the Vintage Coordination Headquarters, which ensures maximum quality control and traceability of the grapes.
This year, the forecast harvest of grapes reaches 300 thousand tons. About 250 wine companies will be involved in the processing of the grape harvest.
